So I am taking off posting on here once again til this damn thing goes away. I am sorry have a bunch of new stuff to post but it will take some time. Take care all.

Push Trailer
Here is the trailer for a new movie called Push. I think it reminds me of Hero's alittle too much but whatever it still looks good.
Dead Space
So I know Dead Space came out last week. But I am going to throw the review of the game up from gametrailers.com. I put a good 13-14 hours into Dead Space and beat it last night. It is by far one of the best video games I have ever played. If you have yet to pick this up cause of the wide range of games coming out, do so. Just make sure to play with the lights off and the 5.1 turned all the way up. Its a game well worth your 60$.

Village Pet Store.
Ok so who wants to pile in the xB and take a trip to NY? This here is new work of Banksy and its awesome. Away with the paint and in with the animatronics. Bansky has been showing up in NY the past few weeks and just the other day he opened The Village Pet Store in the West Village of New York City. In this pet store you won't see cats and dogs, but breaded fish sticks swimming in a bowl, or McDonald's Chicken McNuggets that sip barbecue sauce. There is also a bunny who's sitting in front of a mirror putting on make-up. The Village Pet Store will be open daily til October 32st from 10a.m to midnight. Here's a time I wished I lived in NY, but the pictures and small video are good enough, check it out.

MUNNY TIME!
So tell me a little about your self?
Born and raised in Florida and my parents gave me the collecting bug early.
I had a lot of toys growing up; M.U.S.C.L.E. Men, Battle Beasts, Mad Balls, G.I. Joe, He-Man, legos, Transformers, and I still have most of them. When my parents would tell me to clean my room, I would just push the piles of toys against the walls so you had space to walk. It’s not much different today.
In 2005 I started collecting Palisades and Mezco toys like Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Family Guy and South Park. My friend Kip Williamson saw my collection and handed me a book called "Vinyl Will Kill". I flipped. I just liked how bubbly and colorful everything was, I was immediately hooked.
When did you first learn about Munny's?
2006
Is this your First and what was the inspiration, tell me a little about it?
I have done about 4 pieces (quality over quantity). There are also some small ones around the house just from having ideas at that particular time.
Insperation for this piece came from Kip. He is an avid Star Wars collector with a 13' x13' room covered from floor to ceiling and wall to wall with toys (production and fan made). He wanted a giant Boba Fett. Since its least used he wanted the colors to be from the 80's cartoon series DROIDS (the first time Boba Fett was introduced). Before I knew it, he had a Mega Munny in hand and colors already picked out.
What type of paint, markers, ect. did you use?
On the Boba Fett I used Krylon Spray Paint. When I started customizing, I was using Elmer’s Paint Markers. They aren’t the best for color variety but they go on smooth and don’t stick afterwards.
Are your customs for sale and do you take commissions?
None are for sale now, although I am available for commissions!

You Tube, new way of buying Games!
Yup, Google (who own YouTube) want some more money. They've today announced a new feature to be implemented on YouTube that will let you buy games. And proper, real games to boot. They'll be rolling out Amazon buttons underneath certain game videos. Like, you watch a Spore trailer on YouTube, and if you like the cut of its gib, you can buy it straight away. Ah, modern commerce. Gotta love it, no?

Instant Art Grants Program!
Instant Grant Program from Steve Lambert on Vimeo.
Check this video out. Its cool there are people out there doing this. Here is alittle bit from their website.
From the Federation's website:
How It Works
We all learn art in school. Every kid loves to draw at some point. People get fascinated with the details of their new camera, or spend free time writing poems. But eventually, there’s a not a teacher telling you how great your are, or the camera gets put away, or you just plain get busy and stop. Years could go by before you start again, if you ever do at all.
The FSNUA aims to re-inspire creative thinking and action in everyday people by removing a small barrier and providing encouragement. We give small, unsecured grants in the form of $10-$60 for creative projects thought up on the spot by everyday people. In the past this has included a merchant marine, two 10 year old girls, a US soldier on leave from Iraq, an accordion player from Alaska, and around 40 others. We funded their new paintings, drawings, knitting, and photojournalism projects, and the repair of one accordion. Projects that may not have happened had they not come across 10 people in the park to support and inspire the thought.
Beyond the small amount of money, the project encourages people to see themselves as something other than workers or consumers even if it just for the length of time required to apply for the FSNUA grant. We also hope to re-inspire dormant desires to create while presenting an example of generosity without an ulterior motive.

Scary Nurses!
Check out this video of Nurses from the Silent Hill Video game series dancing on stage. I know for myself the scariest game I have ever played was the original Silent Hill back in 1999. It had everything a scary video game needed, and IMO nothing else has come close yet. So with the release of Silent Hill Homecoming just last week. Here is an awesome video, of some the creepy nurses in the games.

Tristan Eaton Obama Posters
Seen this posted over at Vinyl Pulse, I know politics is a bad thing, but I am going to show my support for Obama, and show some awesome political art.
Tristan Eaton has created a series of posters for Barrack Obama’s Vote for Change campaign, which makes it easy to register to vote in the upcoming presidential election. The posters distributed primarily in swing states feature quotes from voters about the need for change and Tristan’s retro, powerful and slightly sarcastic illustrations. These score both in terms of visual appeal and their painful truth. Thunderdog have just put up a pre-order for an open-edition 4 color silk-screen print of the Working for Gas Poster (15" x 24”) for $40. This is the first of three print releases. Next up, a series of portrait posters curated by Thunderdog Studios featuring art from Demo, Filth, and Tes One.
MUNNY TIME!
Fellow artist Pottstar creates some awesome light up customs. Some of my Favorites are the ones with the masks. Please check out these awesome customs.
So tell me a little about your self?
My name is M.G. Litan and I'm from Laguna, Philippines. I love toys, music and art. I don't think I could do my designs without music pumping away behind me.
When did you first learn about Munny's?
I first learned about Munny's early this year when I started collecting toys.
What type of paint, markers, ect. did you use?
I used dremel to drill the holes, super sculpey for the masks and then used spray paint, markers and some glitters. For the light, I used LED bulb. These munnys can either be plugged into a USB port or a power socket.
Are your customs for sale and do you take commisions?
These customs are already sold. Yes, I take commissions.

The DSi will also feature built-in browsers and a DSi shop. Pricing categories at the shop for DsiWare include Free, 200 points, 500 points, and a “Premium” 800 points. New DSi owners will get 1000 points to spend at the DSi Shop before March 2010.

BIG Daddy
With Halloween right around the corner, I figured I would post some awesome ideas for costumes. This guy here killed the costume for Big Daddy's from the game Bioshock. Awesome Job.
Best Furniture Ever!
This right here is awesome! Taken from Kotaku
Slipping right under Namco Bandai's legal radar (until right now, we guess), Italian designer QAYOT has made this Pac-Man-like seat. Covered in a stain resistant coated fabric, the Pouf-Man doesn't eat pellets like its gaming counterpart but a square cushion. It's also not yellow. And that's what people think when they hear Pac-Man: Pellets and yellow. Well, that's what we always think. Always.
Pole Position: REMIX
Well I know one of the games I played growing up was Pole Position, I think on the Atari. I remember playing this for long periods of time as a kid with my father. Well they are releasing Pole Position: REMIX for the Iphone and should be on the App Store soon for $9.99. I should be picking my 3g up in about a week, so I will be buying this!
Peekaboo Prints!
The fourth installment of the I am 8-bit art is how honoring the golden age of gaming has come and gone but that doesn’t mean it’s completely game over. No sir – BeyondThePocket, Silent Stage Gallery and I am 8-bit have collaborated on a giclee print of PeekaBoo Monster’s Double Bubble Trouble Revisted painting featured in this year’s show. Limited to 25 signed and numbered pieces, the 8” x 8” giclee was printed with 400-year archival inks on museum textured archival 355 gsm heavy stock paper. They are available for sale for $45 (+$5 s/h) @ Beyond the Pocket.
I seen Peekaboo Post this last night, everything coming out of the 8-bit show is awesome. Info thanks to : Vinylpulse.
Little Big Planet.
Well I finally got my Beta code last night at like 3am. I only got to play around for an hour or two. So far the lvls that Media Molecule included on the Beta are awesome. I played a few of the user made lvls and some were awesome. I also tried to play online with 3 other people. For some reason this part of the Beta wasn't working out the best. I plan on sitting down tonight and trying my hand at the lvl editor. I will post on here with what I come up with. Thanks.
ALSO 1up.com is giving out codes the next 3 days for those who have not got in yet.

Munny Time!
Well awhile back my g/f painted me a picture of a Koala. So when I saw this I thought of her, plus its a really good custom. Its something I have not seen done before, which is tough with how many customs that come out every week. Please check this out and also visit his site for more pictures and info, thanks.
So tell me alittle about your self?
I get most of my inspirations from things that I love. I am a gamer, so most of my customs are video game related. I first started by customizing Stuffed Koalas. These were Star Wars based, because at the time I found a cool Slurpee Lid I wanted to use for something, and so I made my Darth Vader Koala. After the Koalas I caught the customizing fever. I next went to customizing LEGO Minifigures. The majority of my LEGO customs were Legend of Zelda Customs. There was a break in my customs for about a year. I had to live in Hawaii (poor me :P) for work for 11 months, and I didn't have a lot of access to my supplies. When I got back, I fell into the vinyl scene.
When did you first learn about Munny's?
I learned of Munnys about 2 years ago when I was in Hawaii. I loved the simple shape, and I could see these being made into a bunch of different things. I had to have one.
Is this your First and what was the inspiration, tell me alittle about it?
My first Munny was actually my piranha plant Munny, which you can see here The Koala is actually the mascot for my website http://www.kodykoala.com./ I wanted to dress him up for Halloween, so I guess that was my inspiration.
What type of paint, markers, ect. did you use?
I pretty much use the cheap acrylic paints from WalMart. I mix them to get the desired colors. I also use automotive clear coats on the finished products to keep them looking good.
Are your customs for sale and do you take commissions?
I have actually been toying with the idea of selling my customs, but currently they are for my personal collection. I don't feel that they are good enough to sell. All my work up until now is me practicing and trying to find my style.
